Founded in 1950, Bellevoire began as a single boutique retreat in Paris — a quiet escape known for its timeless charm and personalized hospitality. Rooted in a passion for elegance, comfort, and culture, what started as one address soon grew into a refined collection of uniquely Parisian experiences.

Today, The Bellevoire Experience lives across three carefully curated locations, each offering its own interpretation of luxury:

Bellevoire Champs-Élysées – A polished stay at the heart of Parisian prestige, just steps from the Arc de Triomphe and designer avenues.

Bellevoire Saint-Germain – A soulful Left Bank retreat where literary history and artistic spirit meet understated elegance.

Our History

The story of Bellevoire began in 1950, in the quiet hills of Montmartre. At the time, post-war Paris was finding its rhythm again — a city alive with music, poetry, and possibility. It was here that Émile Laurent, a Parisian architect with a passion for heritage and hospitality, purchased a weathered townhouse with ivy-covered walls and big dreams.

With no investors or brand vision — just heart, patience, and a deep appreciation for beauty — Émile restored the house room by room, turning it into a sanctuary for artists, travelers, and romantics. He named it Bellevoire, a word he created to mean “a beautiful view worth remembering.”

By the late 1960s, Bellevoire Montmartre had become known as one of Paris’s best-kept secrets — a hotel that didn’t feel like a hotel at all, but rather a poetic retreat filled with soul, stories, and charm.
